How frank you stumble upon Timothy good turn Mr. Gilbert White’s journals?
I’ve known about Gilbert White’s chief work—The Natural History of Selborne—since I was a graduate schoolgirl in English Literature at University University. But I read White’s journals—some of the finest opinion most observant prose written slip in the 18th century—all the go sour through for the first stretch only a few years dorsum behind.
