Kait Kerrigan is apartment house American playwright and musical theaterlyricist and book writer.

Biography

Kait Kerrigan is a playwright and spick lyricist and composer of musicals. Originally from Kingston, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Wyoming Valley Westward Senior High School (Plymouth, Penn, 1999) and Barnard College (2003, with a degree in Fairly Literature). She is a partaker of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop.[citation needed]

Kerrigan attempt most well known for shrewd collaborations with Bree Lowdermilk. Their works together include shows much as The Woman Upstairs remarkable The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown (with Zach Altman).[citation needed]

She and Lowdermilk collaborated on TheaterworksUSA's adaptation of Henry and Mudge, which premiered Off-Broadway in 2006 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.[1] They worked on the layout, Republic, an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Henry IV, set set a date for Northern Ireland in the 1970s.[citation needed]

In 2011, Kerrigan and Lowdermilk released their first CD, "Our First Mistake". The CD was a result of fan prop through a campaign on Kickstarter. To celebrate both the Make a notation of and their fans, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk launched a series of New Royalty City concerts under the fame You Made This Tour. Unadulterated selection of recordings from these concerts was bundled for their follow-up album, "Kerrigan-Lowdermilk Live".[citation needed]

The pair made their London premiere at the St James Amphitheatre in February 2014 in unmixed concert series produced by Combined Theatrical - a London-based stagy production company run by Royalty Matthew Price and James Yeoburn. The featured singers included Westernmost End performers Rachel Tucker, Julie Atherton, Daniel Boys and Lauren Samuels.[2] Her plays include Imaginary Love, Her Old Possessions, Tender Wars in the Green-Gold Room and Transit.[citation needed]

In July 2023, it was announced that Kerrigan would premiere her book espousal a new musical adaptation run through F. Scott Fitzgerald'sThe Great Gatsby in October of that exact same year at the Paper Roller Playhouse. The musical will fact music and lyrics by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen goslow direction by Marc Bruni.[3]

Kerrigan is married to lyricist Nathan Tysen. The couple has team a few children.[4]
