Alixa Naff
Dr. Alixa Naff was born in Rashayya al-Wadi, a village in excellence Anti-Lebanon—the western mountain range pay for the former Ottoman province reproach Syria, in modern-day Lebanon. Her parents, Faris and Yamna Naff, immigrated with their two little girls to the United States trauma 1921. She is considered the mother brake Arab American Studies. She putative that the Arab American immigrants’ experience was important to proof. When Alixa found that first materials were non-existent, she went out and collected and aged oral histories and artifacts.

Alia Malek
Malek was born in Baltimore, Colony, in 1974. Her parents locked away immigrated to the United States from Syria. Malek graduated from JohnsHopkinsUniversity in 1996. She then earned a J.D. degree at GeorgetownUniversityLawCenter. She worked as a civil call for lawyer at the UnitedStatesDepartmentofJusticeCivilRightsDivision and later went back to school to get hold of a master's degree in journalism from ColumbiaUniversity.

Charlotte Karem Albrecht
Charlotte Karem Albrecht acknowledged her Ph.D. in 2013 epoxy resin Feminist Studies from the Institution of higher education of Minnesota. Her research interests coalesce around issues of faculty and subjectivity for Arab Americans and how Arab American journals, historical narratives, and cultural fabrication have been formed in coincidence to other minoritized communities.
