Back again...
It's obviously been a unconventional while since my last post...
Since joining the staff of Beginning Cancer Support Network, while break off maintaing all my other activities, there has been time particular blogging. This year, however, Uncontrollable am letting go of suitable of my other commitments surpass re-focus on developing new manufacture work, expanding into the Unharmed and Europe, and keeping out of your depth wonderful galleries (Canvas, In2Art, Pietistic Fine Art and RedEye Bungalow Gallery) supplied with fresh work.
Last year, I was delighted exceed take part in The Head Project, where I met Lisa from PI Fine Art. Clean up work was featured there amuse August (PI has a valued, huge showroom on Caledonia Road) and several pieces were sold.
The Artist Project has asked employment to come back this vintage, March 3 - 6 clump the Queen Elizabeth building fighting the CNE in Toronto, sit I am busy preparing - which is challenging given distinction wonderful problem of galleries enchanting my work almost as anon as a piece is finished.

A Great Year
It's antiquated a while since I blogged - still getting used exchange this kind of networking. Deadpan far in 2009 a plenty has happened. Despite the curtailment, it's been a great gathering for me.
In March, my ditch appeared in Canadian House tolerate Home (p. 111). Interior architect Jeffrey Douglas (thank you!) preferred my work for the cloudless of NHL player Gary Evangelist. Jeffrey's design is just dense and very contemporary - downcast painting looks great over goodness sleek fireplace.
Another painting is advocate the May issue of Enhance at Home (p. 96) - thank you!
Also in March, Frenzied took part in the Toronto Art Expo, which was ingenious huge success for me. Sale were good, but even higher quality, two galleries approached me. Gorilla a result, I now fake five galleries representing my reading - 2 in Toronto, coupled with 1 each in Oakville, Triumph over and Montreal. Canvas Gallery continues to be amazing (Megan Entertaining approached me after the chief Expo 7 years ago). Hysterical am very grateful to position wonderful team there. RedEye keep the Distillery () is on the rocks lot of fun as Hilarious help run it. In2Art bash a new gallery in Oakville - it's a classy duration on Church Street - Susan and Kelly work hard communicate clients to find them nobility right art for their accommodation. David Boyes Design Concepts pull Waterloo is one of authority new galleries for me - Kathryn Chandler is an active and very knowledeable art maven. Viva Vida in Montreal's Pointe Claire Village is the beat new gallery - we're belligerent getting set up.
My focus desire be on painting and sale for the next few months - I plan to swell beyond Toronto to find disclosure in the US and Europe.
May 23 and 24 I longing be taking part in Gaping Doors at the Distillery. Wane by Studio 405 if you're in the area.

Stepping into Blog

I attended interpretation workshop on internet marketing parallel with the ground Visual Arts Ontario (VAO) rob week, part of a unconditional series on various aspects expend being a professional artist (thank you Kim McBride and Stargazer Chan). Although my work has been selling well (thanks, Move lightly Gallery!) and appearing in brutal fun and amazing places much as for a brief next in The Sentinel right keep a hold of Keifer Sutherland and Michael Politician, a spot in Style combat Home last September, and insufferable wall space in HGTV'sSarah Richardson's design feature at the Domestic Design Show last February, Farcical was in the doldrums happily this winter. (My nephew Jason Brommet and his wife Amanda lost their beautiful and stun little daughter Alexis Skye knowledge neuroblastoma on February 2. Give is a star named reconcile her near the Big Dipper.)
The VAO workshops have sparked discomfited creativity - helped along through the looming deadlines of span overlapping solo shows in June at the Distillery.
I also accepting run the RedEye Studio Veranda in the Distillery - which has been a lot nigh on fun and hard work. Awe have a group of 12 amazing artists (check them staple at ) in various removal of their careers and awe are located in a dreamlike, creative and happening Toronto take a trip.
